Dr. Hodges has always had a keen interest in science and a strong desire to help others. He first became interested in becoming a dentist when he was a child. His Uncle Court was his dentist. Going to see him was always fun, entertaining, and never scary. He performed what looked like magic when he extracted a tooth without Dr. Hodges even noticing that the procedure had been done. After seeing what could be accomplished with dentistry to help people, Dr. Hodges decided to enter the profession himself.
Dr. Hodges graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. He then continued at the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as an honor graduate in 2000. Dr. Hodges continued at Baylor to graduate in 2003 with a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and a specialty certificate in periodontics.
Today, Dr. Hodges regularly teaches other periodontists as well as dentists and dental hygienists. He feels a strong commitment to helping his community reach the highest level of dental care possible.
