Dr. Ying S. Wang is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at Texas A&M University School of Dentistry. Dr. Wang received her dental degree from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in 2014. After a hospital internship, she spent three years in private General Practice, in Hiroshima, Japan. She then pursued further education and received her Certificate in Periodontics and her Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University, where she served as the Chief Periodontal Resident. Dr. Wang is a board-certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Wang has been involved in teaching, providing lectures, lab exercises, and clinical supervision to predoctoral dental students as well as postdoctoral periodontics residents. Her research interests are focused on soft tissue surgical procedures and dental implants, and she has been involved in the performance of clinical trials and systematic reviews. Dr. Wang is also involved with the international community through various professional and volunteer activities.
